Usually when the topic is medical I'm moaning, but today I have something positive to say. It's about Greenies Pill Pockets, which I've been enjoying for almost a week now.
In the past I hated taking the potassium bromide that is supposed to manage my seizure problems, because it was delivered via a horrible system of shooting a syringeful of horrible red medicine down my throat.
Last week, however, we got a new supply of potassium bromide -- in capsule form. And then we got these delicious Greenies Pill Pockets, which are like little chicken caramels in which my capsules are artfully hidden. All of a sudden pill time is my favorite time of the day.
The Greenies are not cheap, at least not at the vet's, where we bought them. They might be cheaper online. But no matter what the cost, from my standpoint they are definitely worth the splurge.
