A recent arrival was instantly unpopular. No one liked him.
He brazenly peed on our bench, then turned and walked away.
The experience gave me insight into how onlookers sensing a threat to their community can be drawn into spontaneous group violence.

Although there is no excuse for his disgraceful pee, just remember that he is new to the bluffs, and perhaps he is unfamiliar with the peeing customs of the native Bluff dogs. Still, that must have been an appalling sight, and I would like to congratulate you on not giving in to the peer pressure that might lead to violence. It is in situations like this that others look to you for guidance Lambie, and once again you have stepped up.
